Kachi Keri no Mitho Achar
INGREDIENTS
- Raw Mango- 500gm
- Sugar / Jaggery- 1kg
- Lavnag- 12-14
- Taj - 1 inch pcz 4-5
- Elachi- 5-6
- Red Chili Powder -1tsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Turmeric - 1tsp
- Oil - 50gms
Note- instead of oil you can use mustard oil(sarasiyu oil) - 100gm
METHOD - 1
Soak Mango for 5-10 minutes in water, then wipe with kitchen towel napkin, and peel it out with help of peeler, and grated the mango ( be sure that mango seed should not be grated).
Then take that mango in a glass bowl, add salt, red chili powder, Turmeric.
Now take a oil, heat it up at slow flame, once it heat it up nicely then add Lavnag, taj, Elachi pods till it turns aromatic.
Now add jaggery or sugar allow to melt it nicely then add grated mango into it and mix it nicely till everything is mix it nicely.
METHOD - 2
If you don't want to melt jaggery or sugar before then after adding Lavnag, taj, Elachi pods then add grated mango after that add jaggery /sugar into it and mix it nicely and allow to melt sugar/jaggery nicely in it at slow flame
Store in air tight container and keep in fridge
Note- if it still sour( khatta) then add jaggery / sugar as per need
