Vada Pav
INGREDIENTS
- Aloo 2 meduim sized
- Mustard Seeds 1tsp
- Curry Leaves 10-12
- Ginger Garlic Paste 1tsp
- Coriander Leaves - finely chopped 2 tsp
- Lime Juice - 1tsp
- Green Chilli - 5-7
- Salt to Taste
- Tumeric
- Besan 1/4 th cup
- Baking Soda 1 tsp
- Chilli Powder half tsp
- Water Half cup
- Oil for frying
- Green Chutney
- Tamarind Chutney
- Garlic Chutney
- Pav
METHOD
Boiled aloo and mashed it and keep a side.
Take a pan heat oil 2 Tbsp, saute and splutter Mustard seed, curry leaves, Coriander leaves, 1 chopped green chilli, ginger and garlic paste, Tumeric (half tsp) saute this all nicely, later add aloo and salt (1tsp) and mix it.. And keep aside.
On other hand take besan add chilli powder 1 tsp , Tumeric 1tsp, salt 2tsp, baking powder 1tsp and water mix well. No lumps should be there. And batter should be Normal,not too liquid. Batter should be thick.
Now make a medium size ball of aloo mixture, deep in besan batter and deep fry it.. Fry till golden brown. Take out aloo vada.
Now fry 5-6 green chilli..
Take a besan batter spread and pour in oil. Stair occasionally.. Fry till golden brown.
So we have ready vada, fried chilli, and chura.
Now lets make a wada pav.
Take a pav and split from half, on one side spread green chutney, tamarind chutney and garlic chutney then keep wada and fried chilli.. Close pav..
Deep in garlic chutney and serve..
Taddaaa wada pav ready!!!
