Shami kebab
INGREDIENTS- Minced Mutton /chicken /beef- 500gm
- Chana daal- 250-300gm
- Green chilli - 16/17
- Coriander leaves- 1 handfull
- Mint leaves- 1handfull
- Red Chilli powder- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Sooji/ breadcrumbs- as per needed
- Egg- 3
- Oil for frying
METHOD
Wash nicely minced nicely and allow to dry so that excess water drain off. Soak chana daal for overnight or 7-9 hours.
After minced dry add in cooker and soaked daal, green chilli, ginger garlic paste, salt and 1cup water allow to whistle 2-4 times or get it cooked till it becomes soft. Once the pressure cooker cools down open it. If water is there then make it dry by boiling ( it should be dry).
Now grind that paste in grinder after that take it in a bowl and add Chopped mint leaves, Corrinder leaves, red chilli powder and mix it well( checked the spice and salt if needed add it) and now grease your hand and make a small ladu then press it from side and make a cylinder.
Then cover it with sooji or breadcrumbs and now add in egg and shallow fried
For egg
Crack egg in a bowl, beat it up add salt and red chilli and mix it.
Serve it with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
