Recipe for banana candy halwa:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup banana candy, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds and cashews for garnishing
Instructions:
- Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan or kadhai over medium heat.
- Once the ghee is melted, add the banana candy pieces and stir until they melt and become smooth.
- Add milk to the pan and stir well.
- Keep stirring and cook for about 5 minutes or until the mixture starts to thicken.
- Add sugar to the pan and continue to stir until the mixture becomes thick and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Add cardamom powder to the pan and mix well.
- Remove the pan from heat and transfer the halwa to a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped almonds and cashews.
Serve hot or cold, as desired.
