Simple and easy recipe to make Soya Tikki:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soya granules
  • 1 large boiled and mashed potato
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped green chili
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying


Instructions:

  • Soak the soya granules in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
  • Squeeze out the excess water from the granules and keep them aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add mashed potato, chopped onion, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt, and soaked soya granules. Mix everything well.
  • Add bread crumbs to the mixture and mix well again.
  • Take small portions of the mixture and make small round or oval-shaped Tikkis.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the Tikkis until they turn golden brown from both sides.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any chutney of your choice.
